The majority of our suppliers will require the lead driver of the vehicle to be the holder of a major credit card. There are very few exceptions.
Dollar Rent A Car will accept most, but not all, debit cards and cards with Mastercard, Visa or Discover Logo at time of rent (with proper authorisation). When a debit card is accepted to qualify for rental, two forms of indentification are required a valid driver's license plus passport or an additional credit card or debit card embossed with the same name as the driver's license. The card is for identification purposes only and will not be credit authorised.
